If you've got one of the above coolers, Arctic have found that some of them have defective gaskets and have produced a fix.

I am hoping that I can leave my 420 rad in place and just ensure the block is kept raised above it whilst changing the gasket. It should work........famous last words, lol.

Take the few extra minutes to remove the radiator. As for keeping the block raised, wedge it in a clamp or vice or something.
