Arctis nova pro, Audeze Maxwell, Astro A50 gen 5 or ???

I saw Peter Tyson advertising the Xbox version for £299 with a 2 year warranty..

I contacted them and they said that they are ordering direct from Audeze and will be the latest manufactured batch, they aren't old stock they are shifting..

On top of that it seems the S4/S5 thing is a bit of a red herring, they opened a second factory in vietnam and people seem to be getting a mix of screws/posts for the adjustment, the important driver update was made Oct 2023 and people with S5's have had screw posts, some button posts and its all a bit random.

I've ordered some from PT, to which they say 3-5 days backorder, so fingers crossed.
Interesting. If you wouldn’t mind trying out sidetone when you do get them and letting us know I’d really appreciate it.

not sure if this helps anyone, but I have just ordered some Sennheiser Accentum Plus headphones and an Avantree DG60P AptX-LL dongle. Coming tomorrow and will be a bit of a jack of all trades.
Music, Gaming, MS Teams, Travel etc etc...

If anyones interested, I'll let you know my thoughts.

£125 + £28 so reasonable

gone straight back for a refund. Felt very cheap, uncomfortable with crap foam and too much clamping pressure.
Not a patch on my soundcore q45s
