Are a left or right brain type?

Have been watching this for about 20 mins and it only changed direction 4 times. The partner walked past the door so called her in and within a 2 minute conversation it changed direction 15 times for her and even changed direction when she was looking at it whilst the whole time it was still going clockwise for me.
Maybe it's more to do with how hyperactive/relaxed our brains are lol.

It was clockwise for me, couldn't get it to go anti-clockwise. Then I did, and it's stuck there now. :p

close your left eye and look with your right, then do the opposite and do it a few times and blink with both eyes aswell and you see it change direction

If i just look at it, it goes clockwise, if i do any kind of thinking IE maths etc, it will go anti-clockwise

but i can write with both hands, and do tasks with either hand.

i can make it go back and forth at will.

oddly, I see it going both ways. not at the same time, but it intermittently changes.

i appear to be ambi-brainulous...or something...lol

Yeah i thought it was doing that, like if i started reading the text on the left, out of the corner of my eye i could see her going the other way, but if i looked back at her, she went clockwise again.

If you focus on the foot and the shadow she will change direction, quite cool actually. :)

I can't even see her go round in the cycle anymore, she just moves the leg from side to side.

Clockwise only when viewing the page itself.

When I view the image directly, with firefox animated favicon of it in the url bar, it is anti clockwise when I stare at the favicon.

This thing is amazing.

It's strange, when I look at it normally it goes clockwise. When I read the text on the left in the corner of my eye I can see it go anti-clockwise.

Similar here. Which ever direction it's turning when I first see it, a quick focus on the text while being aware of it in my peripheral vision changes the direction.

edit: there's definitely one frame where it's possible to switch at will if you catch it, like someone said above much easier if you cover the top half and just look at the legs. Awesome trick though.

edit2: frame where the heel touches it's shadow (33/34). Pretty freaky having it go say clockwise for a sec in Firefox and anticlockwise in Gimp before your brain says sod it and sets them both spinning in one direction.

To me, this is actually nothing new. The hi-fi I've had for about 8 years has a "spinning" CD icon that activates when a CD is playing. It's similar in that it can spin in any direction, but "usually" spins clockwise (which oddly is how this girl is spinning for me!)

Me and my mate Joe think we've cracked it. :)

Wow that is weird. At first she was only going clock-wise then after concentrating I could get her to switch but it took some time. Now I can move her left to right and stop her from rotating.

Very weird.
