It's an idea however I was under impression they were banned overall, seems maybe just draft legal.

I think if drafting is allowed then you can’t use Tri bars. For non-draft races they should be fine.

But yeah - check the rules of the individual race to make sure.

i think it's different between races. there are draft legal bars that are very very short (basically no longer than shifters distance from handlebar). some just plain and simple no tri-bar of any sort.
