Does anyone know if all 4TB NVMe SSDs are double-sided? I know the Corsair MP600 PRO NH is but I don't know about any others. I want a couple to put in my NAS but I'm not happy about the airflow around the slots so would be happier with single-sided SSDs that are in contact with the supplied heatsink.

Drives with the latest high-density QLC like P3 Plus and Kingston NV2 are single sided, I believe, but most other drives (e.g. SN850X, KC3000, Firecuda 530) are double.

Thanks. I don't want QLC so I either stick with two 2TB TLC or give up the 10Gb/s & two M.2 combo card so I can have four 2TB. Decisions, decisions......
Alternatively, I wonder if there's enough headroom for an MP600 Pro XT.

Oh, I can easily avoid QLC as I don't regard it as fit for purpose - any purpose. I bought a 4TB Corsair MP600 Pro NH for my new desktop build which was a good decision and why I'm considering the XT version for my NAS. The NAS is only PCIe 3 so I don't need the speed of PCIe 4 drives but that's all that's available now and the MP600 Pro does have a good endurance rating.
