Are all e5200's created equal?

Those seem very high voltages....I tested one out last week with watercooling.
Managed 3.33Ghz @ 1.136v and 3.6Ghz @ 1.288v ! Didn't try for any more, but seemed a willing performer.

I am still waiting for Porta to post his voltage for his overclock.

Personally, i will not give mine more than 1.45v and i am not really comfortable with that. These are 45nm cores after all and i already had a C0 E8500 degrade on me earlier in the year. My E5200 is currently clocked at 3.6Ghz with 1.325v. Boot's into windows at 4Ghz with 1.45v and will run benchies but is not prime stable.

If a CPU degrades, it's the perfect excuse for a new one! :D

(Granted I am playing with a £50 chip here, so it's a little more expendable than a E8xxx...)

Yeh I am a little disappointed. Who doesn't want to hit the magic 4Ghz? It will have to do though, as the gain I will get with an E7300 @ 4Ghz would not be worth the cost, even if I sell this chip for £50. Bang for buck for the win!

I have had another little play with mine, can get into windows at 4ghz, but not stable on the 965 DS3P rev 3.3
So for sure its would be 4ghz chip on my P5E, which is superb value for money.
Very impressed really.

hi. 1.6v in bios bench stable at 4.75ghz, was running -30c on phase tho and just for a few suicide runs. Tried it in 2 boards and could not get anything more out of it.

was stable at 4ghz on 1.45v, for a £50 chip quite pleased got me a few points that's the main thing.
