Are all M.2 SSDs the same ?

Looking to get an M.2 SSD for my B450
Probably a Western Digital one.

Will they fit and work in my mobo ?

99.5% of the time, yes
Note that m.2 is the form factor. The SSDs come in nvme or sata3 flavours.
Just make sure you get the nvme ssd rather than the sata3 ssd

Go for 3rd gen M.2 since B450 motherboads don't support gen 4. You will save money as well
