You can't assume that everyone finds these jokes funny. I used to know an asian geezer who referred to his family and friends as "**** *******" - does this make it okay for me to use similar language?

Nix failed to make use of emoticons - that was the main problem as I saw it.

As explained above, banter is all very well and can be a good source of amusement as long as it is plain that it is banter.

I don't know Nix personally and there was nothing in his original post to indicate that it was banter so I could not know that it wasn't just him being a prat so get off your high horse and don't even begin to imagine you have the facilities to patronise me.

I don't assume that everyone finds them funny, however as of yet i have failed to find someone with a sense of humour wo doesn't.

It was bloody obvious that he was joking, plenty of people on here make jokes without smilies, it pretty damn easy to pick up on, but just because others are too quick to go OMG he's insulting someone, rather than step back, think about it and then add a considered reply, rather than flying off the handle, you get people having a go.

Even if he had meant it, so what, Wales is hardly a plethora of excitement is it? Outside Cardiff, which is nice (but then so would anywhere be if it had the same amount of Eu and Govt money ploughed into it), there ain't much, the valleys are all very nice to look at, but give me the nicer parts of England or Scotland any day as a far better scene. And you have the audacity to charge us to get into that pointless litte country, frankly you lot should be paying (a lot more) just to get out :D :p (obvious enough for you? )

Stan you don't have to know someone personally to see what is plainly obvious, and as you are the only person in this thread to have broken the forum Rules then i'm not sure you are really in a position to be deeming what is and isn't right eh ?

Most likely because the vast majority of Wales (compared to other parts of the UK) is low disposible income, and therefore sales volumes will be lower.

You can't simply go crying 'Racism' just because someone or something does somehting you don't like. You're assuming the only reason they have no dealers in wales would be because they hate the welsh, when in fact any sensible business would never be that stupid as to discount an entire market due to irrational prejudice.

What's far more likely is that the market in Wales doesn't make economic sense one way or another, and that they can cover the (presumably) small sales volumes without needing a supported dealer in every town.

I was joking about racism thing hence the use of ":)" :)

This "low disposable income" thing - what are you basing this on? It could well be that Wales has a smaller population than the rest of the UK and this is the reason?

Why do companies like Sony, Panasonic, T-Mobile, Vodafone etc bother detailing Welsh dealers if it the disposable income of people in this region is too low?

I'm inclined to agree with you Stan.

I think one of the main problems is that GD attracts children/young people with little to no life experience. I was a complete **** as a teenager so have experience to base this opinion on :D

Because people on incapacity benefit and income support (If Merthyr Tydfil is anything to go by) are more likely to buy mobile phones and TVs than car stereos, they can nick the car stereos. :D
