Are games getting boring or am I getting bored off games

well i play guitar and create electronic music. Though im getting lazy with these also, or bored also.

I dont like pubs/clubs tbh. Well pubs playing pool is ok but dont like clubs

I do gym and play football, sometimes golf.

I still have a lot of time I game. If Im in house I usually game, cba with tv or movies.

If I had a job it would be different.

I wonder if its just age though? Or just depression=lose interest in things?

Plus its true it seems every game I play is fps and all fps are same.

I tried some RTS the other day and was enjoying it a lot.

You're overdoing the FPS game type, try some strategy or indie games instead.

That was my first thought looking at the games he's listed, they are almost all the same genre and that tends to burn anyone out, be it with games, books or films.

My suggestion would be to try some smaller indie games, or something completely different.
I practically stopped playing games at all for a couple of years, then I got a Wii and things like Mario Galaxy got me back into gaming, and now I find I'm thoroughly enjoying a lot of the small indie games on Steam (I used to like RPG's, but wouldn't have the tine/patience for the lengthy sessions often demanded, but I love Recettear which is an alternate take on the RPG).

I strongly recommend trying out Braid on steam as your first Indie game.

If you dont fall in love with it, and become absolutely amazed by its sheer genious, then you have no soul
