When I do my next full pc upgrade I will be looking for a monoblock. The problem is they only make them for the most premium boards out there. I am also dead set on the ITX backbone so that even more expenditure. I will be looking abit more seriously next time though.

They have released new ones at Computex 2026 just havent got them on official site so havent added them here yet until good official images appear

Its understable to only release them for mid/high end boards as if someone isnt willing to pay a lot for a board then they are less likely to spend more than the board alone on a monoblock.

However, they have shown a Monoblock for the X870E MSI Tomahawk Wifi Board which is only £250 so best thing to do would be reach out to them asking for ITX block

I loved using a monoblock when available back when I did full WC setups, sadly like most blocks though they look to have shot up in price.

Last one I bought was for the Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero and cost me like £80 new from EK, hate to think how much the new ones will be.

The MSRP on that was about £120 in 2017 so if you got one at £80 it was a steal Unfortunately Monoblock are now £200+ the alphacool ones circa £250-270 However everything has gone up in last 9 years and the monoblocks are bigger and better now cooling M.2 drives as well.

Most of those boards have all but pointless features added to them to make them such stupid prices. They wo7ld sell a lot more monoblock if they reasonably priced them and made them for not only the 3x normal board price mobos.

If it was just a bit more for the board than the usual I would happily spend the same on the block aswell. But not a 3x mobo and then and 300 quid block.

The problem with a mono block is you can't transfer them to a new socket or board when you change pc. Also makes changing the CPU out a pain because you might have to replace the vrm pads as well as thermal paste. They are also hard to resell later too.
