hi
amd athlon 64 x2 3600(2.2 gig overclocked)
geforce point of view 8800gts 320mb core overclocked from 513 to 700 mem overclocked 792 to 1000(2000)
3 gig ram ddr 2 667
550 *** psu
6 caSE fans.
my 3d 03 mark score is 34691 and it put me at number 1 with loads of other configs the same as mine and 10 thousanth out of 350 thousand pcs.
any good?

Try 3DMark '06 dude. It'll give us a better idea.

What cooling are you using on your GTS? If its stock then thats an amazing clock on the core for air and stock volts.... :eek:

strangely enuf im using stock cooler and my card idles at 59 with 100 percent rivatuner.i have 2 120 fans rear and front.front blowing in rear out.2 side fans.one blowing out from card and one blowing in on mobo.
my 3d 06 score is 12540

Your not going to get 12540 3dmark06 score with your 2.2ghz AMD CPU at 3dmark06 default 1280x1024 res...

What res were you testing at ???

Are you sure it was 3dmark06 and not 3dmark05 ??

and just to add.i posted here yesterday cos i thought maybe the overclock was fake or something.i couldnt beleive it either.so i tried 3d mark on 600 core 850 memory and got 29 333 then i changed the core to 700 and mem to 1000 and it went to 34 thousand so its definately true to the card.i cant explain it either.but not complaining!!!!!

You should be using 1280x1024 in 06.

Can your monitor support 1280x1024 ??

As no one would know roughly what score you should be getting at 1024x768 in 3dmark06

ive just tested 1280x960 and it gives 11644 3d06 marks.i can have 1280x1024 but i lose 10 hertz from 85 to 75 so dont bother

Run 3dmark06 at 1280x1024 and you able to compare your score with what others are getting with there 8800gts cards here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17741390

with an x2 at 2.2ghz i doubt your getting even 11600 at 1280x960. the performance differential between a low clocked x2 and a high clocked core 2 duo (3ghz and above) is like 2000-3000 points.
