Are my gaming days over?

Right,

I got
Halo 3 & Skate. Blagged the numpties in Games Exchange into a "I bought this the other day but lost my receipt" on Bioshock, one bloke said no but the other blokes said, nah, just do it we will sell it again! Result! as they were only going to give me £20 trade in for something i paid £44 for!

Right, gonna have a bash at Skate first as i imagine it is just a play straight away game!

R E S U L T!

I go through similar phases where my interest in gaming totally dries up. But if your system is up to it try Team Fortress 2, i havent been as hooked on a shooter in years, not only is it a superb game but its also the most fun thing ive played in a few years as well. If it doesnt rekindle your love of gaming you may well be dead inside ;).

As youve got a 360 you'd be mad not to try Halo 3. The single player does nothing for me whatsoever but the mp game is as good as ever, and playing split screen with a mate online is as much fun as ive had on the 360. Might want to give Project Gotham 4 a look as well, if you liked Forza but it didnt excite you enough then i reckon PGR4 could be the game for you.

I love madden for ps2... im gonna get it wen i get a xbox360... ive played it on the xbox n it kicks ***.

You might just have to wait for a decent game to come out, i was the same til doom3 and quake4 came out...

only ever liked thse 4 games tbh, along with nfs's and gt's, bout it tbh...

Im very much the same, i really only enjoy sports games these days, i bought Halo 3 and have played about 2 minutes of it, ive not been tempted to go back yet, bioshock did nothing for me.

I am quite enjoying Trauma Centre on the wii though, i still enjoy playing games, but i dont have the spare time to get into anything really deep, so i prefer to dip in and out in a sports game rather than try and follow a story over months.

The last non sports game i truly loved was fahrenheit.

I took a 62 day day break from gaming and have only started to play a bit in the last couple of days. The whole story/whine is on my blog (sig)
