Yea I have to agree. 5850 now is only worth considering if you can get it for at least under £200...if you have to get a 5850 above the £200, you'd be better off just get the GTX470 at £220 ish.It's amazing that the 5850 and 5870 are still at or over their launch price almost 1 year ago. I was kind of expecting ATI to drop them to £175/£250.
Fair play to Nvidia, it's the first time since launch that I can't recommend a 5850, I think your choice is either 460 or 470 around that price bracket.

It is a bit depressing isn't it. ATI appears to have become complacent, hoping residual interest will ensure people keep buying the cards even though Nvidia have a comparable lineup at lower prices =/ Makes me feel dirty owning a 5870
