In a bar, gettin' ******
I'm looking for a micro ATX board to go with an E6600 that can clock to at least 356mhz.

Needs dual channel DDR2 and at least 2 PCI slots with room for a two slot graphics card.

Seems they're all pap tbh. :(

Any ideas?

well the abit F-I90HD currently looks like the best C2D mATX but it doesn't have 2 PCI.
Tbh I think that you are going to struggle to get the layout that you want & the oc. How does the Asus P5B-VM do?

Go for a Asrock Conroe945G - DVI, proven rock stable chipset. Max FSB on the bios is around 350.
It Has 4x memory slots upto speeds of 667mhz w/ 2x pci slots & 1x PCIE Graphics slot. The abit might not be what people are expecting it to be. Have a look at this thread, you might want to read the whole thread.

Looks promising. :)

I could get away with only 1 PCI slot if I use onboard sound.
I'm only using a crappy SB Live 24bit anyway. :p

Hitting 333fsb would allow an E6600 to go to 3ghz, so not too bad.

Is there any reason you want a mATX baord?

Personally id go for an E6400 plus a DS3 or a 650i board if you will be wanting SLI

You're not going to get near that thanks to the lack of a PCI lock.

my old asrock achieved 315fsb, check out other forums where members have got a 300+ fsb result, unless we are all dedicated to ocuk forums. not

maybe it's not much but over 300+ is possible:

They're all pretty much pants for overclocking, but the good ones are quite cheap. No need to spend over £30 to get a E4300 to 2.7Ghz (ASRock 775i65) and a full Vista Ultimate compliant board is under £50 (ASRock 945G-DVI). Knock yourself out. Or not.
