I've just built a basic HTPC in the living room and I have a Logitech Harmony 525 that I'd like to use to control it. Looking around at the MCE compatible IR receivers, they all come with the remote, which I obviously don't need.
I'd rather not pay for the remote when I don't need it, so does anyone know of any products that are literally just the IR receiver? Apparently it needs to be IR6 to be compatible with a Harmony, and the only other thing is that is must be able to wake the PC from sleep and work with XBMC, Media Centre, etc.
If not, what IR receivers would you recommend that do come bundled with a remote and that definitely do wake from sleep and support XBMC and MS Media Centre?
