Are we likely to see another Mazda 6 MPS?

Took the missus to look at a 3 and a 6 yesterday (along the way having a good poke around an MX5). I really like the new ones and think that the 3 is great looking, both inside and out.
What did surprise me is that you can't actually have the 6 as a petrol auto. Have things really got that bad?

The 3 is a great-looking car, although the Sport is perhaps a bit too understated; it could do with a few extra touches just to set it apart from the bottom-end one.

According to the Mazda website you can get a petrol auto, but only the 145ps engine, not the 165.

That is utterly stunning. Best looking modern car in some time imo. Has shades of TVR to it... I dearly hope that makes production looking even remotely like the concept.
