I've got a full head of very thick hair but it comes out of my chin and the sides of my face.

Imho the reason young men worry about losing hair is because they think it will have a negative effect on their sex life as you grow older you realise that women prefer wealth confidence and dominance within the social group over hair.

Yeah but nice to have both. I hate when people say that it's vanity or being vain if a guy is concerned about losing hair, that's ridiculous.

Luckily I haven't gone bald or started at 31, but if it did start to go it would bug me and not because of vanity but because I like having hair, end of story.

I'm 31 and pretty much completely bald on top these days.
I started losing mine back when I was about 17 but it didn't become noticeable until around 21. It really bothered me back then so I can completely understand why some can get really depressed about it. I think it was mainly because it was something which changed my appearance outside of my control. + it did make me feel ugly and old.

Shaved it all off 8 years ago and just learned to live with it. Stopped bothering me years ago but has definitely got easier with age.
All that said, my missus says I look weird in old photos of me with hair and that she would make me shave it off now if it magically grew back!
