Are you related to anyone famous?

Nobody,

Although my mate is a cousin to that git from Busted, you know, the one with the big eyebrows :p oh, how we heckle him

One of my relatives is very well known in his field, and is the best friend of the principal of a UK university. I can't remember his name right now though :o.

No comment :p I actually can't believe JohhnyG hasn't mentioned it before we are in truely blessed to know someone related to someone so famous.

Not even a tiny tiny wee small little clue. ;)

Apparently I am related to Col. William F Cody 'Buffalo Bill' - people sometimes ask jokingly but seem shicked when I say yes.

I'm also related to the Fry-Cadbury familly, not sure who it is only met him 2 or 3 times, he's a 2nd or 3rd cousin and married on of the fry's.

1st cousin in Ireland is Brendan Linskey, he played hurling for Galway.

My great-great grandad has a statue in his honour in a city on canada from when he was working as a mountie and was killed stopping a bank robbery, supposedly if i go across there and make myself known i can get free room/board/meals/beer etc as he is something of a hero there!

Dont think there is anyone famous in my family, however my Uncle is the spitting image of Fred Flintstone.

Somewhere we are related to the lass who plays Fizz in Coronation Street, mind you I would rather have an Uncle who looked like Fred Flintstone.

I have links to the Saudi royal family.

Unfortunately, there was a bit of a tiff a while back, and many of my ancestors were exiled/killed.

Typical

My Uncle Mickey (English) used to play fly-half for the Irish national side in the late '50s/early '60's.

There's a fairly well-known story about one particular match where his opposite number was a chap called Phil Horrocks-Taylor. After he'd dodged another tackle, my uncle was asked what happened.
He replied "Horrocks went one way, Taylor went the other, and I was left holding the hyphen!" :D

My Dad's comment? "Yeah, that sounds like the sort of thing Mickey would say."
Mind you, my Dad nearly shot down Nikita Kruschev during the Cold War.
