Azagoth, being twice a girl's age is errm 'unusual'. My best female friend has a penchant for people that much older than her. I always tell her that they are only dirty old men who want some err.... (apologies for crudity) fresh meat.
But hey, she did just fine; gets used and abused by men many years her senior.

I'm gonna say Ideal gap is no more that two years. Doesn't matter which way around.

Voltar - I think after a certain age a woman makes up their own mind... I know a happy 34 year old woman going out with a late forties guy and they are seriously happy together. I also know a 25 year old guy married to a 36 your old woman.. so if it does apply it applies to both sexes!
