Area information

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a property in an area (i dont want the house price crash arguement in this thread please, leave it for the other) but I want to find out some more information about it Eg crime figures and the like.

What websites are there that can be of help? I have looked at up my street but it isnt exactly specific to an area but more of the Town.

What area are you looking at?

You could maybe try the local authority websites but they may be more generalised as well.

Very good site.

Also shows you price houses over a period of time for your area. and some homes for sale. If you register you can find the sale price out.

Using it on your postcode and the "Lower Layer Super Output Area" gives some great reading.
