Ares I-X test launch

Trying to resume ASAP now.

Sounds like 90 minutes was just a panic measure to make sure they didn't start the count until they knew the situation.

Spare exploration/travel was much more fun in the 60/70s when it was all gung ho. What's with these excessive safety measures? I mean in the 60's they were planning a nuclear powered rocket that would have killed a handful of people from the fallout each launch. Now that's is how to get the job done!

I know :(.

same reason we haven't tested nuclear propulsion. Becasue stupid hippies complain about what happens if it blew up on launch.
A known and technologically easy way to get to a decent % of speed of light. Ride the blast wave, hell yeah. we need a base on the moon to manufacture such things. assuming there's any radioactive substances on the moon.
