Argh Tiscali FFS!

Came back from Hudds and my internet is screwed.

Browsing the web is slow, i can rarely sign into msn cos i keep timing out, some webpages dont load. I get eratic pings on games and they become unplayable :mad:

Downloads are slow too, i emailed Tiscali about this issue and i want it fixed, i aint payin for slow broadband.

So, this ever happened to any of you guys?
 
Yep, happened to me for 8 months, never got sorted, we left. We were ringing/mailing them on a regular basis (once a week or more) and they always blamed our router, or our telephone line, or the ADSL filters, got fed up and left them eventually.

Every day, at 6:52 (yes, im that sad) the net would nosedive and pings would go to 350+ and downloads would go to ~30KBS or less, this happened until 10:55 then it would go back fine. It done it at those exact times every day for 8 months.

this is only recent, my service has been brilliant up to now so dont say its normal xD
 
Yeah it only started recently, i was on them for about 5 years without probs till i left in June because of all the traffic shaping etc... that started.

Mine was mate, it was fine for 10 months then one day it done what yours has and never improved afterwards. Im not saying yours wont improve, but they didnt even try to rectify it for me.

Tiscali sucked back in the days of 56k. Why do people still use em :confused:

And a customer support line in India lol :o

I understand that you are geting very slow speed on your broadband line.

Well, I would like to share this information that the problem is at our end.
