Servers are there, I just checked.

Set to unofficial and search "ocukace" you will find them.

Right all, I have taken your advice and set all XP multipliers to 10 x
And taming and dino baby growth speed to 15 x

Material farming is 3 x

Maybe up the multis a little more, not the xp ones but the taming and gathering. People find it hard to spend all day on a 4 year old game.

I'm getting hacked off with this issue and I don't know how to resolve it.

I tried disabling all mods, I tried deleting and reinstalling all mods and I tried switching the server to P2P instead of UPD and nothing has worked.

Other people can get on the servers fine.

I have disabled my firewall on both windows and now my router and still have the time out problem. So it isn't firewall related.

I wish ark had a log file to show what the problem is....

I have deleted the game and reinstalling, I already did a steam file check but this is my last option now.

EDIT: reinstall didn't fix it.

after reading the steam community forums for ARK, everybody who seems to host their own servers on their LAN cannot get on by remote logins are fine.
Seems like the dev needs to patch whatever they broke.

rebooting the servers now, they were up but the game client must not have been seeing them. Wildcard you are crap!

Right @Nexus18 I have created a schedule now where the servers are closed automatically at 3:45am uk time, at 3:50 I have scheduled an ARK server software update check and install.
then at 4:20am the ARK servers will all reload, so now we have a daily update check and ARK server reboot.

I'm looking into seeing if it is possible to automate the mods installed for updates during the down time also. Not sure this is possible though, and if it is, I need to learn how to set it up.

we have a nice little community building on my servers, 4-5 people from here and a few people recruited by TonyTurbo78 via him streaming the game on twitch etc.
