To enable benchmark on Arma 3 you first need to download a mission file, I have uploaded it to my OneDrive account "link at the bottom"
Download the Zip file and copy the POB file into the Arma 3 missions folder.

Settings I used, 1080p Full Ultra, minus the Blur

Shankly...

You will need the viewing, object and shadow distance the exact same on any benchmark that you run, as these are the main factors for fps within any of the ARMA series..

Yeah, that is correct. People should just copy the settings that I show in the screenshots.

Any time i compare graphics cards in arma, I see if I can turn the view distances up further. The further they go up, the happier I get. My 660ti could run max settings(including AA but only 100% sampling) but with low view distances at 1080p. Fps was around 30-45 depending on the scenario. My new 970gtx can get around 60-70fps on the same settings so I turn the view distances up. My view distance setting is now 6000/4500/max. I'm actually running 150% sampling as well on the 970.

Mind posting some results? I believe Crossfire don't have any gain in this game. When I bench this with and without Crossfire I get the same results.

Here's mine at ultra everything, apart from terrain which only allows me to set to very high, funnnily enough I asked Melbo via steam chat, he could set terrain to ultra but not textures to ultra :) Typical ARMA :)

Oh, and we should max out view distance for terrain and objects :)

Re-do using setting in OP

Updated OP and re-do Bench at 1080p... Am sure I did 1080p first time round. Just I tuck screenshots of settings before changing Res.

1 fps difference between 1080P and 1050P is good. The results was clearly 1680x1050, so you didn't do 1080P first time round.

Glad I could help though :)

Benched at 1080p with same settings as yours Shankly.
I2500K @ 4.4
7950 Xfire 900/1200
16Gig Ram @ 1600
Running off an SSD.

Ave FPS 57.

And on the score board :D I will after copy mine over to SSD soon and try. I know a lot of the Arma players say Arma benefits quite big from running off an SSD.

What Drivers you using?
