Yeah, I used to run 4.8ghz all the time. But removed it because the games I now play dont need the massive overclock on it.

I dont play Arma 3 that much tbh but if I did I sure would be overclocking the CPU again. Arma is very CPU demanding

Tomorrow though just to see what score I get i'll over clock my CPU again and see what I get should be interesting.
 
I tried playing this over the weekend, Graphically it is amazingly unimpressive for the requirements it has at max settings, I know it's not about the graphics but wow, The game runs like a legless turd :p

Seriously, thats because you have yours down to 1600 metres. Try turning it up a bit to at least 5 or 6 Km with the object distance at least 2Km.

Something wrong with your settings then, for me the game can look fantastic, especially for a game that has a map that is 270km2..
 
I think ARMA looks beautiful in certain parts, light shafts coming through trees are some of the best I've seen. Of course at massive distances miles out it isn't going to look great, I think this is one game/engine that will benefit a lot from 4k resolution to hold detail far out.
 
Thanks will update later. Yeah this game is a strange one, I get same frame rate with and without crossfire enabled.

I get full usage out of both cards but my CPU usage never passes 50% total.
Seems i not alone either from there official forums. I believe this is the reason for the not so good performance.

Overclocking the cpu in this will give the highest performance gains I think.
