Hey up,

Didnt work for me either, still blank screen with empty boxes at the bottom

Piece of junk game lol, didnt want to play it anyways

Try using maxmem=512, if that works then try 1024.

Is what mine says, definitely 1.14 but still it wont run unless I physically remove the RAM

Also try maxmem=256

Though that seems a tiny amount of RAM, but I am reading it works for some.

Or you need to edit the bootfile so that it only loads 3GB of RAM

awww, you have to all play with us !!, weve got a dedicated server nearly....

well i say nearly, we just need a better motherboard.. if anyone has a spare, let me know.

I want to, but having to pull ram out every time I want to play is a pain in the bum.

When I do play it I enjoy the game, though I suck at the solo campaign missions, especially the first one as an AT specialist having to take out the tanks at night, grrrr I dont know how to do that.

Edit, are you at Uni in Cov Shimy?

FYI
the maxmem switch is ONLY for video ram ( some people had probs with vid cards
with more than 512Mb on them so this was added to restrict using more than a certain amount)

You could always use Xp , arma runs fine on my system with 4G of ram

I guess ArmA takes a dislike to my hardware, though the x64/4Gb bug was said to have been fixed in 1.14

I've managed to get it running at least

Using this program I have to run the game windowed rather than full screen, which is a pig. Also it seems to run worse than when I removed the RAM. Strange!
