arma problem

Hi just installing arma combined operations and it downloaded a operation arrowhead beta and the other two are still downloading, when i clicked to go on the beta it said something about bad serial key and wont let me on it, im scared incase it does this with the full game too.. whats happening ?!

is it normal for it do do this ? it is a small file for a beta i thought it comes up with a another message which say "needs addon arma2oa

The beta is just the beta patch.

Like Dg said, you need to wait for ArmA II and Op Arrowhead to finish downloading then run each individually.

Just run ArmA II, then OA mate.

I can't remember if you have to start a single player game up. Might be worth just quickly starting a mission, then load OA and start a mission.

Good to hear it, there are so many different sp and mp missions and mods you can try.

Have a look on http://www.armaholic.com/ and the official bis forums for things to do.

I'd avoid the SP campaign personally. What a nightmare. Friendly player controlled AI are FAR from "intelligent" its all in the multiplayer.

There are mods that totally change it and make it very enjoyable.

There are missions, damn had the game from day one and never moved out of the editor.

Not to mention performance hosting your own ai/battles is night and day from playing on a server or another friends machine in coop. F.ex we once tried some and I was getting a lowly 30 fps, when someone else hosted I got 70-90.

AI respond directly to that, they're stupid when they don't have enough resources, they take longer to move, path, aim, shoot, think, react.
It's bloody scary seeing them on a dedicated machine purely for AI resources.
