Armadillo Run

I need help again, lvl 16 - Trigger.

Heres what I have so far:

Uhh well, the fabric and metal pulls the catch off launching the rocket lift thing, then the armadillo rolls down into the little baskit thing, the fabric then breaks and the metal sheets now pull the baskit with the armadillo in it up the hill into the zone. Theres another bit of rope stopping the baskit from being pulled over the ledge.

BUUTT its overbudget :( lets see yours.

Truss it up;

topgun06 your L16 - Trigger looks a bit cheaper than mine, grrr

Here's my L46 raise: (a little more in budget than yours!)

I was trying to improve it (cheaper) but got ****** off, bah

i like the old puzzle games and building things etc. So is this for me ? i've tryed the demo , i feel i just need to play it more :D ill get back 2u ... £10 cant go wrong i guess :D

Absolutely, I'm loving it, I finished it in 2 days though, but I'm competing with my mate on price of the levels.

Can you beat level 5 - drop, I can get $188

$190

Just hang a metal bar from the middle of the cloth, pointing straight down.
It pretensions the cloth, avoiding breakage :D

Level 12 was well easy :)
Here's the actual level... save it in your Levels folder.
Or just copy the screenshot :)

Same solution, but added gaps into the cloth as the ball doesnt roll all the way down. Took some optimisation to get it just right, but works and its fairly cheap.

There is a way of doing it with $354 remaining... Requires use of the 'dark side'... (The physics engine can be broken by placing a few items just so, can provide an example .lvl file if you want)

Nice work samcat, thanks for the tips!

No problem.
Have spent a daft amount of time tweaking the solutions to save a few bucks here and there... :D

Very good game, if only there were more like it.

Have you heard of Pontifex? It's a physics driven bridge building game. You can't do as much as on armadillo, but the challenge is still there, me and my mates had quite a good time completing it!

With level 16, when you first load it up and press start does the rocket move up the ramp? , as mine doesn’t even move :D

This thread inspired me to get Armadillo Run, and I have been playing it quite regularly since I brought it.

I have just completed lvl 50 and extra lvl 8 and I am well chuffed. I would like to see how you guys solved extra lvl 8, here is how I did it.

AFTER

Cheers
