Armari XCP - Computer submerged in liquid

i dont like the fact that it changes colour, i would just prefer it stay on one colour. Or better yet you could just what colour you want it on by a swicht or something
 
Is crazy, £200 a litre for the flourinert and it holds 40 litres!!

Theyve spent over £100,000 making it, and if they get more than 20 orders, they can do them for about 11 grand a pop
 
i spoke to the guys that made this at i34

in CPC it says its running dual 4870X2s which is a lie because they couldnt get them stable.

At i34 it was running 4 4850 graphics cards

the cpus were still running silly hot about 80 degrees i think.

impressive piece of kit for a show and to market the company.
 
don't know what the big deal is all about - here's mine! :D we made it this winter

actually its hydrolic oil for cars and a 30 litre fish tank :D
And cost me £15 to do the whole project - thats the price of a 2nd hand fish tank

I was watching DUNE last night and thought of this case ;), the part where they roll the navagator in and he speaks to the emperor :p
 
wow i just found out about this. i used to work for this company back in 05/06 and dan was drawing up pics back then for the xcp. the predecessor was the coolflow-x2 which had 2 watercooled loops with the gfx being peltier cooled :D
