I like games that are clan friendly, e.g. the 2142 buddy list is pretty cool and I would have love to have had that on BF2? Hopefully there is no points/ranking/awards system so people actually play it for the fun of playing .

I have to agree ranking systems are just retarded, everyone should start a fresh at the begining of each level of each map. That way people who are good on servers are those who are the most skilled, not the most decorated.
I would rather have Andy McNab on my side than Prince Charles for instance!!!
this is about *** best news i've heard in a while, i tried to order for a friend and i just now, but i only did german for two years at one hour a week, did lots fo french though , so my linguistics arn't quite up to scratch
i'll have to wait untill school tomorrow to order it
Ordered the German version their are threads on the forums about changing the language looks easier enough as someone is working on a self extracting patch installing to make it all in english
There's a thread at Guru3d.com....some pirate scum are talking about it, and there are some screens. Perfomance seems to be a major issue, even with a 8800 though.
I totally loved Operation Flashpoint and am still looking forward to this despite the problems...lots of bugs as well apparently.
OPF was one of the few games I played completely to death over a long period of time. The amount of user created fan missions just seemed to be never ending.
Stonking value for money, I've got high hopes for AA as well, if the fanbase emerges as its looking like it might do, this will be more of the same as far as longevity goes.
Like everyone else I'm really excited about this game. OFP is still an incredible game. The reply value was immense. I must have played every mission hundreds of times trying to complete it a different way each time. It's by far the most immersive game I'd ever played.
I don't think the graphics look too shabby either. They suit the game.
