All fair points. I do not have a problem with the game being a "sim", I have persisted with Falcon AF for long enough

But, its not really a sim as such. Flying and driving etc are on a par with BF2 but I like the one shot in the chest and your down. I played flashpoint in all its versions and loved the tension and realism. In fact, I'm gonna reinstall flashpoint and stick the 2003 mod on it. Its not perfect but the game is better overall. Enemy AI is actually a little bit less lethal with the fixes but the whole visiblity thing at night and in smokescreens is just daft. Unless of course they have night vision whihc some of the units have!!!! :cool:

I used to play it, there was a fun mod where 2 killers had to go round killing people, everyone else played as the police trying to catch the killers. But after a week of playing that all the server disappeared and I stopped playing.

Was a good laugh, you had reports of suspicious activities coming over the radio, and when a body was found it would say the location. You then zoomed around in Heli's etc trying to find them
