The Armour has more fans and is bigger but is that enough to make it better at cooling then the Akasa 62?. I'm still torn between both cases. I like the Akasa's look and build quality plus it comes with castors. Armour looks good too but on Thermaltakes website, the aluminium one weighs the same as the black one. Would the black armour be able to withstand moving around better then the aluminium one? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

The only thing I'm worried about and might regret is the fact that the aclipse mobo tray might not have enough standoff holes for the ExtendedATX mobo I'm gona use. It says on the akasa website that it is compatible with eATX but it looks like I might have to improvise a few holes into it.

What motherboard you going to use?

The case is quite deep, deeper than a standard ATX case. I think ive taken a photo of inside the case, can you see from that mate?

Using this one below, you can see where the standoffs would go(white circles) The board would go all the way up to the cable management holder I think. The board is 13 inches wide if you can measure for me?

Ten holes all together.

Asus have made one that is ATX form factor but the PCI-E aren't both x16 speed, only one is.

Might go for this cos it's cheaper, not 100% sure yet.

I'm almost certain it has the correcy stand offs for eATX.
I certainly havent heard any complaints of false advertising on that front from anyone with one.
The fact that the design was originally a server case before coming mainstream as the Eclipse suggests to me that eATX shouldn't be a problem.

Cheers, I didn't know that it was a server case before but I did read that it only went into mainstream cos people requested it.(Probably server crowd). Cheers for the info PinkFloyd. I shall get that one and mod it if it does become a necessity. I'm sure it'll be better in the long run :)

The big mobo will fit, no problem. The Eclipse is fabulous case, significantly better than the Armour. You won't be disappointed with it.

Another recommendation. Cheers. This is the first case I'm gona build in that has all the panels and mobo tray removeable. :)

Id also recommend the Eclipse62 :) . Best case Ive ever owned, i love everything about it. Its a dream to build in, wire management is superb, looks great, excellent air cooling and loads of room for W/C.
