Army of Two : 40th Day - This Friday [15/01/10]

I really liked the first one also. Not sure about this one though. I've heard the single player part of the game is only about 6 to 8 hours long.

wouldnt surprise me :(:( ill complete it then trade it in towards mass effect 2 or dantes inferno.

The first one was ace, and I've had loads of fun playing it both solo and in co-op with my cousin :D

Tried the PS3 demo for 40th day though, and the frame rate was horrible :( (split screen co-op). There was also no option (that I could find) to have a horizontal rather than vertical split, which is mighty annoying! Think I will wait for some user feedback (and a price drop :p) before shelling out for this game!

Should have my copy sat at home as i ordered it the other day...enjoyed the first one so should be much the same i guess with this one.

If anyone fancies a bit of co-op with a co-op noob ie me then feel free to add me and invite me to a game:p:D

I think this will either be on the "to rent" list or on the "pick it up when its dirt cheap" list :) I loved the 1st one but after the initial week or so i dont remember going near it again after that. Was quite short.

Looking forward to this. Enjoyed the first and if this is more of the same with improvements i'm game :)
Couldn't have put it better myself. Hopefully will get a copy to review, otherwise I'll be picking it up in the future when it's cheaper and I have a bit more free time, there are just too many good games to play currently.

Finally got around to trying the demo with a mate last night (PS3) and can safely say this wont be a day one purchase for me, I may pick it up in a few months when the price drops, I just don’t think it’s good enough to a ~£40 game.

One of the biggest problems I found, and it may just be the PS3 affected, but there is a noticeable graphical lag when aiming, making the task noticeably more difficult, you seem to lose a great deal of precision control and changing the controller settings does nothing to alleviate this problem.

The voice over work wasn’t that great, the dialogue in the demo to me seemed dry and robotic, it didn’t really grab me – but this may be a ‘meh’ point to others.

What else is there? Oh, the demo decided to boot us both out a decent way into it, and when we reconnected we had to do it all over again – cue closing that one down for the night!

I know it’s just a demo, but if it’s indicative of what the final product will be like, then until they make a few changes, I have no interest in owning it.

guys , random question.

what are blockbuster rental costs and how long do you get the games for? would prefer to just rent this game then buy it after playing demo
