Army of Two

I ordered mine, I've nothing but good things about it now. Good enough that I know I will get most of money money back when I'm done playing it so that's enough for me to purchase :)

Oh damn, the game is out this friday? lol, for some reason I've been expecting it mid april! :/

I've got it on my boomerang list for release. How do they go about that? if i send a game back tomorrow is there a chance i wil get this when it is released?

I'm going to wait a bit for this wait, wait for the reviews. As good as it looks I always find it suspicious when 'big' releases like this fail to have any of the big games sites putting up reviews. If they were that confident it was going to be great surely they'd be happy to hand out review copies.

I just want to know id there is lan play lol. I hate playing split screen and my mate can easily bring his ps3 over to mine for abit lan play if its possible. He is defo getting it on friday so guess ill find out. :)

As a single player experience, Army of Two is a fine game -– one that manages to provide a fun, engaging time despite its length, AI issues and elements that don't seem fully implemented. However, it's really co-op play and multiplayer where the game stands out, and these two modes will most likely keep you playing for a long time. Considering that the game has been designed with this style of play in mind, it works very well, and players that want to take on the life of mercenaries will most likely enjoy its story and multiplayer battles.

Incidentally, there are few, if any, visual differences between the 360 and PS3 versions of the game. Both run at a smooth framerate, and any visual issues that you see in one version are the same in the other. The only differences that you will find is the inclusion of achievement points in the 360 version (the PS3 version does not feature accomplishments at all), and the addition of Sixaxis functionality in the PS3 version of the game, which actually works pretty well. Moving the controller up and down gets your character to reload his firearm, and during parachute sections, you can use it to steady your descent or move back and forth. It's pretty solid.

Nice to hear that both versions are as good as each other :)

Although I'd turn off that sixaxis nonsense if I was playing it on my PS3.

Same here, although I think the sixaxis input sounds appropriate. I have to try it though to comment properly.

Every game I've used sixasis on so far using the analogue sticks has been better.

I'd rather press square to reload than have to move the pad up and down although it may work OK on the parachute sections.

I have this game. Single player was pretty fun on the first mission but i can imagine it will get repetitive.

Co-op will be awesome over LIVE though.

I'll be around Friday night, unless of course you want Souljahax. :p

I'm easy either way. I will spam you both and the Mrs is away this weekend so I'm free to put some hours into it :)

Looking forward to having something new to play. It's been a long while.
