Army of Two

Should be picking up two copies of this tomorrow, one for me and another for my mate who wants me to trade another game in for him. Cant wait for the Online Co-Op

Honestly, playing through and thinking about it I don't think I'd buy this for the PS3. I don't mean that in a PS3 slate way, just it wouldn't hold you for long enough.

I'm not a score whore but this is one game I've played where I see the benefit. I'm already thinking next time I play I will try X weapons and nail the achievements for doing it etc.

The PS3 currently doesn't have that so I see one play though and your done with the game.

Where as when I'm playing through again going for the weapon achievements I will be doing it with friends to make it more fun.

There's no real incentive on the PS3 to do that.

I hope that makes sense and doesn't seem like a PS3 slander post, cos everyone knows I want one. Infact if I hadn't have blown my expenses on a new lappy for the Mrs I would already have one :D
There's no malice in your post so don't worry, it's plain to see you're being reasonable :) Personally I'm looking at this for the co-op goodness, so the achievements don't matter too much to me really and I think (or would hope) the co-op thing should extend the longevity of the game :) Whichever platform, I think it won't disappoint.

Yeah I'd agree if your the sort of person that can keep running through a game with no real target. I'm not that sort of person. I have the attention span of a goldfish. So the achievements in this game give me co-op replay value that I normally wouldn't bother about.

:)

Good game, got my copy this morning...like someone said the AI in single player is pretty useless ie when your injured, he tends to drag u right into the line of fire lol...which kinda defeats the purpose of healing you. Whilst the AI is trying to heal you he keeps getting hit therefore causing the healing process to stop :/.

All in all not a bad game, its pretty decent as the past few months for me have been pretty dire release wise.

This game, like Gears of War, really has to be played with a friend for the full experience. Although I do a good job of replacing the AI as I'm just as good at getting killed in bad places.

hey has any1 played it yet is it worth me headin out after work to get it just so me and my mate can play it this evening or should i just wait till some time next week to play it (im not gonna have time to play it over the weekend ive got a LAN and a girlfriend to attend).

im probably only gonna be playing it in co-op mode

I cannot confirm which of your co-op partners said this to me...

"Play with Wrydo first, that way you get the heal team mate 25 times on your first play through" ;)

He's using his hacks to make the enemy bullets home in on me :(

We had to stop right at the end of the game last night as Soulja was worried he was about to destroy another monitor in a fit of rage.
