Arrested for ''abstracting electricity''

That's for any person though which would include a PCSO. I was more thinking about the copper who arrested him.

Ah, indeed, I thought you were referring to the PCSO.

If abstracting is actually an arrestable offence, why was he subsequently de arrested and then arrested for something else?

Any offence is an arrestable offence. You can be arrested for littering.

Like VS says, it's all down to arrest necessity. If the PC arrested him as he wouldn't give his name or address and then subsequently did, the arrest necessity no longer exists and so he should be dearrested. If he then commits another offence like a public order offence then he may have another necessity to arrest for the latter offence.

Our 110v plugs are bigger and blue lol the yellow are just standard 240 but industrial plugs for durability. He uses it to charge his phone lol

:S I thought that normally blue commando plugs/sockets are still ~230v but higher than 13A and the yellow ones are 110v, or at least that's what it's been on ever site/facility I've worked on (red ones for three phase).

Thats weird because the standard is that blue commando's are 240v, yellow is 110v. The yellow ones are slightly smaller.

A local suburban train that makes stops every 3-4 minutes and which people are not on for very long? It doesn't even have seating arranged in rows let alone power sockets..

I don't think you realise how fast phones charge up these days.

A train arrived in a station and a member of staff requested BTP assistance.

What are they supposed to do before investigating - just say 'get lost'?

No the pcso on a power trip called them. Pcso might actually slowly take away work from actual police officers

I don't think you realise the difference between the requirements and amenities offered on long distance Intercity trains and the requirements and amenities on short distance urban commuter trains, hence the bizarre and meaningless comparison an a London Overground commuter train and a Virgin Intercity service from one end of the country to the other, as if the features on one should automatically be present on the other simply because they both happen to be 'a train'.
