Heading down to France next week for some D Day stuff with 3 mates. Staying in Arromanches for 2 nights and wondering if anyone knows of a good place to eat there on the Friday or Saturday?

Your best bet is searching Google Maps and finding the best rated place that’s open on those nights as you’re way out of their main season.

Yea we did that, it was only down the road from our hotel.

What a fantastic trip and highly recommended for all.

Not totally relevant... but my dad once got horrific food poisoning in Arromanches and I can still hear the sounds of him with his head in the toilet 20 years later :eek:

Scallops to start and then a chocolate mousse was his downfall that fateful day!

I seem to recall I went for the mussels with heaps of frites instead.
