US: Arrow - Season 2

Awesome episode! Loved the partnership with Lance too :D

This is easily my second favourite show (true blood still remains in my #1 spot)

Not remember the episode where he got Diggle to put the suit on for a while (when Oliver was in jail) plus he had to do a lie detector test amongst other little things throughout season 1 and of course Oliver still has the reputation that he is a selfish little rich boy who was always partying etc.

Although the last few episodes have definitely made it more obvious with arrow showing up as soon as Thea is taken hostage and of course you would think that Lance would recognise him since he was practically standing by him the entire time.

Amazing episode, love how each episode just gets better and better! Some things were pretty obvious i.e. how Slade and Oliver would become enemies (I'm sure there is a bit more to it than just what happened to Shado though......). Had a feeling that Slade was somehow connected to the main present storyline.

One thing that is bugging me is how is Oliver going to become this master of archery and combat etc. with Shado gone and not much longer to go with him being "friends" with Slade on the island?

Not too keen on Roy having super strength etc. now though :/

edit:

According to IMDB, we will see Bruce Wayne in episode 21

No we won't. Stephen Amell himself has said this. Someone just decided to post that because they can. There has been no mention of Bruce Wayne appearing on the show.

Just read that on another forum, although it wouldn't be the first time for actors etc. to deny plots/appearances that have been leaked or whatever :p

i.e. star trek into the darkness, JJ and all the actors denying that the bad guy was Khan and boom, he is Khan.... :p

It would be pretty cool to see Bruce Wayne though and knowing Bruce, he would have figured out that Oliver was Green Arrow

They have been slowly building Roy's character, as he was known in the original comics, as Arrow's sidekick "Speedy", he also later went on to be known as "Arsenal", and later still "The Red Arrow".

He was a founder member of the group "The Outsiders", along with Nightwing.

As Arsenal, he was shot by Brother Blood, while attempting to stop him from activating a network of sleeper agents, and later upon clashing with Deathstroke, the scars from that shot, saved his life, when Deathstroke figured that he had suffered enough.

Eventually, Roy joined the Justice League at the behest of Hal Jordan, under the guise "Red Arrow", in homage to his 'father figure'.

So, while having super strength is a new idea, it is not as though the character isn't expected to develop into something more. Of course, Oliver does call Thea "Speedy", which makes things even more confusing.

Yeah I read about red arrow stuff etc. when Roy was first introduced but still! I don't like how he has super powers over Oliver now, it is cheating! :p
