US: Arrow (Season 4)

Laurel needs to be killed off as she has surpassed Lana Lang (from Smallville) for terrible acting, constantly being a trouble magnet and learning kung fu in the matter of a few weeks. Now we have the silly canary call or something... with is just daft.

They should have kept Caity Lotz as Canary she was fantastic but I don't think Laurel is anywhere near as annoying as Lana Lang and never will be, hot as Kristin Kreuk was, the character was utterly pointless after a while but then that show sucked and hung on way too long.

I thought for a brief moment in that episode that 'Team Arrow' was about to be cut down to Oliver and Laurel. Not sure how I feel about Felicity, Diggle and Thea being saved - killing them would have been really bold (though personally I'd have preferred Laurel in place of either Felicity or Thea).

Im not sure I believe what the cliffhanger is trying to infer TBH, unless the actress who plays Felicity has been given better job offers. Or maybe it is true, and Barry offers to save Felicity somehow? Either way, unless the actress wants to leave the show, I doubt the character is dead. Others seem more likely.

Just caught with season 4, much better than season 3 although not quite up with 1 and 2.

I agree with this post but I think it also applies to any main cast member, that unless the person playing them wants to leave the character won't leave. Particularly, as main cast are probably tied to contracts for another couple of years at least.

I will put the next bit in spoilers.

This article links to a Australian promo of 4x10 that has Donna telling Oliver that Felicity will never walk again. There are set photographs that have appeared that show filming with Felicity in a wheelchair. It would appear unlikely that Felicity is in the grave as it seems a big story to give someone only to kill them off a few episodes later. It would also be another reason why we didn't see her at the grace scene as it would have been a huge spoiler in itself.

She is apparently getting a codename that contains the letter 'A'. There has been speculation for a while that Felicity will be their version of the Oracle so that this would fit.

Whilst this is an highly speculative blog post (from someone who doesn't seem to like the character) that uses a blind article to make a case for Laurel to be the one leaving it does make some interesting points. Particularly, that she has been replaced in her original purpose Canary and Olivers love interest by two more popular characters so doesn't - at the moment at least - to serve a purpose on the show that others couldn't do.

Should have seen that coming with Felicity
wheelchair makes her more like the Oracle

Edit - d'oh should also have read focus130's spoiler above :)

^ Thanks. That was a good one, lucky office is mostly empty so people can't see me laughing to myself.

They said at the time, there was only enough for one use.. and since ray has been "dead" since then, they've never fabricated more.

Yeah but they know he is around, why not get him to manufacture some more? He would be doing everything he could to help her.

Still, wouldn't want to spoil a good plot line... :)

But... When she was sitting in the car at the end, wonder if that is another misdirection and she can actually walk again?

Fight scenes seem to be getting worse, like the better a person Ollie gets, the more awful the fighting gets, needs to go back to killing people. Although I do think it's because there's more of them fighting, much better when it was just him, Digneto and Felicity.

Anyone else think the Canary cry thing is so completely retarded ?

Yes it a little cheesy but i like it :D or her even lol

this is a major spoiler
yeah did the old swap-aro adding Batman's arc into this (felicity for barbara) which is a little strange but i guess the show can only work with what they got. Although the original assault on Barbara was a lot more horrific and disturbing

Bit of a rubbish episode, random outfit introduced and dealt with in 45mins only to get diggle friends with his brother. The lass playing felicity also isn't a good enough actress to pull off the current storyline.
