Arrrrrgggh! Bloomin' Thrips!

This thread has reminded me to see how a former post-doc I knew at uni is doing, he did his whole project on thrips :D

I posted in the monitors forum last week about one that's really thoughtfully crawled into my ROG Swift and DIED.

Not happy.

Horrible little *****.

Never heard thrip before, but agree with being sick of small bugs. Dengue fever outbreak here is getting a bit silly, two of my friends down with it now, so death to all small annoying little bug things!

I have just noticed one of these little buggers in the lens of my camera.....

Going to try the Dyson......

Edit - Dyson did the job... Happy days..

These little **** love bright colours. Remember when I was once on my bike and pulled over for a min or two. Came back to my bike and it was covered in black.

Did you just suck at the edge of the lens?

Wondering if it might work on my monitor...

I put the Hoover over the lens. It was a handheld one so not as powerful as the big one. Did the job perfect but no idea if it would work on a monitor from the edge though....

They used to swarm mad style outside my old workplace during the summer. Would constantly be covered in them when going for a lunchtime stroll.

At one point, one of the little barstewards landed on my eyeball. That was an experience.

Hate hate HATE them.

Well it's that time of year again.

I have a new monitor this year - Got myself a rog swift pg279q two months ago.

I now have TWO of these blooming things currently crawling about under the panel. One looks to have died right in the middle.

I tried squashing them under the bezel when they went to the edge, but didn't work.

Totally fed up! Expensive monitor which now has no resale value and these two bloomin things to stare at all the time.
