Anyone else get driven insane by some games and 'rage quit'? :)

Quite happy to admit I do but not very often.

However Skate 2 has just made me do this due to pathetic cheating AI, glitchy ramps/kickers and god awful framerate in places?!

Anyone else? :)

ofp the other day where i had to rescue 2 downed pilots, the problem was they were as dumb as ****

they kept getting killed, it was sooooooo annoying, i tried for about an hour before i quit.

went back later and did it in a few tries after calming down and rethinking a way to do it.
 
Every single game i play i will throw a few curses each time i die if i die more than twice in a row in the same place or in multiplayer because the other guy was using hax... *cough*

If i'm not with friends in a multiplayer game i'm generally annoyed enough by the end of the first game to stop there. BF2142 and Halo3multi being today's contenders.
 
i've been rage quitting quite a bit recently actually, CoD:WaW when i'm having a terrible round, poor K/D ratio or what not and i'll just press the big green button on the front without thinking, ofp2 made me turn off the 360 twice yesterday, great games but massively frustrating!!!

thought i'd mention i don't RQ when playing with friends, usually because i'm taking the game less seriously.

done rage quits on cod4 and cod5 when i was playing through on vet, i swear to god that i was spawning with nades in my pocket on them games :mad: managed to do them though and was very pleased with myself :p

only in your pockets? i was spawning with them in my helmet, my underwear and all the ones on my person had the pins pulled :p
 
I'm really bad at raging, never quit online when I'm losing but I get really frustrated by games where the A.I. cheats and that sort of stuff
 
We've had this thread already. I remember chopsing about Fat Princess and rage deleting it from my PS3. :D (Or was it Battlefield 1943?)

Last game was Batman though. The penultimate fight drove me mad for a while.
 
I have rage quit plenty of times on fifa 09 but have not once on fifa 10 :confused:

I have also 'rage smash my pad into little pieces' plenty of times. I think i've gone through about twelve xbox 360 controllers. One time i even punched my 2405fpw and boinked the screen :o

What?! *runs away*

I always stop from destroying my pads completely at the very last moment. Just as it's about to strike the wall or floor, I stop with an inch or two to spare. :D
 
I've calmed down a lot compared to a i used to be. I don't think i've broke a 360 controller in the past 6 months :D :p
 
never broken a controller or any other piece of hardware, it just seems unnecessary to me especially now i'm older and i have to worry about where the next ones going to come from and what i'll miss out on because i'm having to burn £20 on a new controller that i didn't need. probably came close to wrecking the old PS1 controller though it must be said

I also recall semi-destroying NBA 2K7 come of think of it :D That version introduced a ridiculous and unfair 'catchup' feature. After 3 quarters (15 mins) of proper play I had pulled out a 21 point lead.

I continued to play a solid defensive game and making sensible shots and going for wide open layups but NOTHING would fall.....however at the other end of the floor every shot the AI was making fell - long range 3's, highly defend shots - the lot.

Finally snapped when I lost the game by 1 point on a full court hail mary shot :/

Yep - I lost a 21 point lead in under 5 minutes and naturally I flipped. Game came out of the console, back into the box which was then flung through the open door into the hall where it smacked off the wall. Broke the case in half and scratched the disk to bits....

Felt good though....
