Artic freeze catches ships by surprise, multiple ships stuxk in ice

What are you, an amateur shrink?
No. Your response seems disproportionatly "aggresive/hostile" (for lack of a better word) considering how benign my post is.

What more could there be other than feeling discomfort when cold?
I really don’t like feeling cold, it’s that simple, and being that way, if someone says that they long for snow, ice, and having to turn the house lights on at 15.45 I involuntarily shiver at the thought and think, ‘Get yourself to Montréal at New Year’s and knock yourself out.’
If people wish for hot sunny weather they don’t need me telling them what to do, they’re probably on the same Tampa FL bound plane that I’m on.
So you really don't like the cold. that's fine.

You should wear more layers maybe you would feel more comfortable in the cold :p

This year has been better than most recent ones for arctic ice as a rule anyway, the weather was really quite kind this year to the ice but the minimum was still well below 1980s levels. The peripheral seas still melted out early and the multi year ice and total ice thickness is still much diminished.

Disproportionately? (Note correct spelling), Aggressive? (Ditto for spelling), no I don’t think so, and certainly not hostile, you’re not so much of a concern that I need to become hostile, and hostile’s not my style anyway.
I stated that I do not care for cold weather in the slightest, you seemed to think that there was something lurking deep in my subconscious which triggered my dislike of cold weather.
You then went on to educate me about wearing layers, thanks, it’s appreciated, but my mother told me about that.
I’ve tried to answer simply that I intensely dislike feeling cold, is that that not sufficient?
I have absolutely zero desire to get into a back and forth about this, how about you accept the fact that I hate feeling cold, and we both forget that we ever mentioned it, deal?

So you start off your post with a jab correcting my spelling.

Proceed to lie about what i think/my intentions.

You then went on to educate me about wearing layers, thanks, it’s appreciated, but my mother told me about that.
You then take the most bad faith interpretation of a joke. Ironically a joke to make the situation less volatile and my post seem less abrasive.

You then have the gall to call for a truce after all that ****, while completely ignoring this part of my post.

So you really don't like the cold. that's fine.

I didn’t call for a truce, as I understand it a truce is a temporary cessation of hostilities,
I’d prefer a permanent end to your infantile and ill founded digs

I remember watching a documentary on ice breakers. Thick ice can be stronger than concrete and effectively they're using a big ship to ram it.
