Artifact scan error? on 1900XT

i have a 11mnth old 1900XT and im experiencing lots of artifacts when play several games. Using ATI Tools and running the artifacts scan it is reporting

Delta of X in X pixels (X being a number) No errors for 02:04 etc....

What does this mean??

It seems to count up reporting no erros for X time before this delta message comes up?

Artifacts have got worse over time. Checking other reports the card doesnt seem to be getting overly hot for a ATI. ATI fan controls i try to keep it under 80 at all times. Card has never been overclocked or attempted for that matter.

Can someone help. I have been given and RMA code but i want to be completly sure its the card before i send it back.

Also, if there was a fault with the card, what would OCUK do about it? I see there are no 1900 or 1950's for sale these days.. and the next generation ATI's seem poor (from the reviews ive read) in comparison.

Give it a dust out with a can of compressed air.

Already done this. There was a light screen of dust on the cards intake (nothing extreem for a 11 month old card) still producing errors. Even used the ATI TOOLS to keep the fan up high.. still no joy (even if there was i wouldnt be happy running this fan so high.. its would wake next door up it that loud) was even considering taking the heatsink off and applying some new thermal past.,,, but as this would void the warrenty im not prepared to do it.

Is this delta stuff reporting errors? its not clear for someoen who hasnt used it before

Further to this, i have ran this same test (artifacts scan) with the fan at 100% and it has shown no delta message for half an hour. hmm.
