hey guys not sure if you can help but how do i determine wether or not its my graphics card at fault or what ive noticed in just cause 2 i get really bad artifacting of blood when i get shot & some of the textures appear to have dots all over them and also noticed in far cry 3 when there is dust eg from cars i can see an out line of my gun in it and also some of the ground in far cry 3 has strange colours that shouldnt be there.

anyway basically how do i determine what component is at fault? specs are as follows

Mobo: MSI G87-G45
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
GFX: MSI GTX460 Hawk Talon attack
PSU: Corsair HX850
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i
SSD: Corsair Force GS 128Gb
Case: corsair vengeance C70
Peripherals: Razer Tiamat 7.1, Corsair K70, Razer Deathadder 2013

Try underclocking the GPU core and the VRAM. Do it one at a time to find out exactly what is causing the artifacting.

You can use PrecisionX or MSI Afterburner to underlcok your GPU/VRAM.

Its the card mate. My brand new msi card from oc is artifacting constantly. New os drivers its going back for replacement pile of dung
