Artifacts on Ares2

just making a final update on this thread i started (a seemingly) so very long time ago,
the new ares2 i got was also broken, (or turns out they just might be incompatible with 1440p)
i sent it back again 23.9 and about 1,5 months later 5.11 i finaly got a replacement of two EVGA gtx 780 Superclocked, they seem to outperform the ares 2 and visually it also seems to be smoother.
however two of those cards dont cost as much as an ares2 and asus refuses to make an refund of the remaining ~150€.

i kinda feel screwed over.
also asus told the local dealer they where sending two msi gtx 780 twin frozr
but when they finally arrived it turned out they had shipped two Evgas instead.

i am most likely never again buying an asus gpu.
 
That isn't right at all. Asus would never send two EVGA cards and sounds like the dealer has had something to do with them.

I would also be narked about losing 150 euros and does seem very unfair.
 
Yeah that isn't good, BUT the only good thing is that you now have a higher performing system so it's not all bad. Just glad it's been resolved pretty much, it's certainly put me off Asus cards!!!

Must admit that the only reason I've not got a pair of 780's in my system at the mo is I'm waiting to see what Mantle brings
