I'm having a new lawn laid tomorrow. 45sq m of luxurious real grass. Should be ready to be walked on by mid august.

How much is artificial grass out of interest, say you wanted to do decent job of small-medium size garden?

Would you be getting close to the small robot lawn mower at that stage? say around £1000-1500?

I honestly love the fact that my lawn looks great. Rake it two or three times a year, feed it twice, hollow tine it every couple of years and it looks great.

I’ll never go back from our fake lawn, our garden is tiny and the fake stuff makes way more sense. We use our garden like an extension of our kitchen diner it dries quickly after rain doesn’t turn to a big web the ids play in it, doesn’t die under the paddling pool, doesn't need trimming edging feeding etc etc. If I had a big garden I’d have grass but I a small space the far stuff wins every time for a family garden.
