As Sick As It Sounds.

I hope they do find her, but what i want to know is what so special about this one girl thats gone missing when many more like her go missing every day  :(

What did you expect your missus to say dude?

I expected nothing less as she is one of these really nice people who feel for everything. However, its still a complete waste of time purely to make that person feel better.

Lets face it, you've kidnapped a small child, the whole world is going mad with media coverage about her. Are you honestly going to try and keep her or dump her/throw her overboard because you know that someone will recognise her?

As sad as it is, i doubt she is still alive!

After all this time and after all the coverage, I don't think she will be found at all. And if she is found, I doubt it will be alive.

IMO if she is found dead, the media should be help partially resposible.

Does anyone really think that with the amount of coverage this has had that anyone would wan't to keep her alive.

I know its harsh, but its reality :(

it's a hard one, with so much media attention, the chances of finding here in the first few days is a lot better, after that the media attention becomes a hindrance.

Slinwagh, I seriously cannot believe your attitude. A thread created about the devastating proposition that someones daughter might not ever be returned to them, and your first reply is to question what they are spending the money on, money of which people have donated. The key word here being donated. People haven't invested this money in order to see an effective spending strategy by the parents. I think you will find most have donated in order as a compensation, because they too know the chances of finding their missing child are ever slimming.

The money they receive shouldn't laden them with the burden of choosing wisely what they are going to spend it on so to satisfy people like yourself, it's there to lift the possible worry of cash flow and focus completely on finding their daughter.

I think you will find that my overriding attitude if you look at various threads I have posted on in relation to this is the the bizarre way in which the media have not asked the question that everyone else has, why were they left alone out of sight, un supervised while the parents went out with there friends.

The only way my attitude differs from some people is that I'm not afraid to say what lots think.

I dont now why people keep saying this? every paper I've read have said the child was left on it's own why the parents went for a meal,, they've had phone ins on radio stations about weather they where right or wrong. It has been heavily reported on..

I believe she will never be found. I am also of the firm belief that the amount of money being thrown around for one individual is sickening. The vast sums being fronted in this debacle should be put to use on helping starved children, orphans' homes, childrens' healthcare in poverty-stricken areas.

It is disgusting that we will all sit up from our chairs and start showing some attention towards one child's plight, while the vast numbers in poverty and bad health are ignored. Talk about hypocrisy. The millions being fronted forward would save vast numbers of lives.

I am also for condemning the parents for not keeping an eye on their child. They have failed as parents, and let their little daughter down, who is now probably dead in a gutter somewhere, or being exploited.

Hard to believe some of the stuff people come out with on the net. The anonymity that you get posting on a forum seems to fuel comments that are just ott for no reason.

i do hopew they find her. but all of *this*, this putting up posters, the uk media coverage...is a complete waste of time. there's a poster on my local shop window. honestly, what will it achieve?

thousands of kids go missing every year, and i feel worse for them because they had NO help form the likes of us and our media. i try not to get too tangled up in this stuff, because you start questioning yourself and your morals. why should i dedicate time which will ultimately be wasted? i cant do anything to help them and so jumping on this bandwagon is futile.

Its a controversial opinion to take but me doing nothing achieves just as much as people putting posters up in their windows. I'm still just as worried for her as everybody else.

That wasn't what you were saying a few posts back. I totally agree that the parents are to blame here for leaving their child unattended, but are we still not able to offer sympathy?

I was merely making another point it doesn't change my overall opinion.

If the poster claims that it has not been reported, it gives the poster an oportunity to claim that their insight and values are beyond everyone else's.

Anyone else wondering about the other 100's of children that have been abducted since? Getting a bit of a farce now imo.
