AS5 vs generic silicone paste

As in the title, should I hold off until Friday to build my new comp when I should get some AS5, or just use the generic silicone stuff that came with my scythe infinity?

If you're overclocking I would wait for the AS5, if not there's no point.

You could always use the silicone stuff temporarily, then change it when the as5 comes

Kind of a silly and unreasonable thing to do, but I admit that's what I would do.
