ive only ever played the first asassins creed and i found it bit repetitve not good at all but they seem to be really popular are the rest of the series any good

The story is the driving factor behind the games for me. It's pretty damn good compared to a lot of the other offerings.

But the first is the most repetitive by far, there's more mix up in the later titles.

The second one is definitely worth a try. If you like it, then the others after that are great too.

I always find that if you just play the first one, you wont understand the story since it carries on throughout all the games...

Second one improves the game by a mile leap and Brotherhood is the perfect culmination of all the cool things. Wasn't as pleased by Revelations.

I've left brotherhood & revelations as I heard that it was more about directing people to do the missions rather than carrrying them out yourself - was this true?

There's that part of the game yeah where you can play assassin manager, but you don't have to do it at all if you don't want to. Of course you still do everything in the campaign yourself, no worries about that.

The second one is a massive massive improvement on the first one IMO, definately worth playing!

Don't really know what you mean by that?

2 is much better than 1
Brotherhood is much better than 2
Revelations is a little bit behind but still good.

Just finished AC: Revelations, so far completed all AC Games, I'd play all parts to understand story, etc. However as mentioned AC 1 was most repetitive.

agree with Pighardia, however Revelations was as good as Brotherhood for me.
