Asda 87.9?!

86.9 in tesco skipton today
87.9 in morissons leeds, ended up filling there as had miles card and wasnt sure if had enough to get to work :)

Took advantage of the 'low' prices (87.9p) to brim the Olds up, my wallet should recover from the experience in a few weeks :D

Wow hope they stay this low? Whats the reason for these lowe than normal prices?

Just price per barrel prices loweing too i guess?

Why is diesel still relatively high though? Usually its 2p more a litre, now it seems stuck at 92.9-93.9 and unleaded seems to have gone down to 86.9.87.9, so its a good 6p a litre more

it always used to be noticeably higher in the first place though. *shrug*

I was running very low on petrol the other on the motorway, pulled off at the services and saw the price @ 99.9 :( so I just put £5 in!

Just a couple of miles later and I pulled in at Sainsbury's for some 85.5 and filled her up :D glad I did that, I'd have been gutted if I'd been lazy and just filled up at the services. A 15% saving isn't to be sniffed at on something like petrol.

Crude oil is down to $60 a barrel now :D

Kind of curious why it's suddenly dropped so much. The crisis in Iran is still the same, and as far as I know universal peace has not been called in the arab countries so why the sudden change since 2 weeks ago?

Did read something earlier at work but can't remember what it said.
Iran has relaxed a bit and America has a lot of oil stockpiled.

Its good that the prices are going down but they arn't a massive saving. In average cases, probably a saving of £2-5 a tank.
Its 15p a litre! thats a 15% reduction
